Books and cultures at the heart of the capital
The Kinshasa International Book, Arts and Cultures Fair (SILAC-Kinshasa) brings together, in the Congolese capital, the players of the book chain, artists, public institutions, schools, companies and international partners around one shared ambition: making books and creation drivers of development.
The event will combine book exhibition and sales, author meetings, talks, performances, cinema, visual arts, crafts, fashion, gastronomy and digital innovation, celebrating the richness and diversity of Congolese and African cultures.
Overall goal
As drivers of education, social cohesion, employment and Kinshasa's influence across Africa and the world.
